Cheryl Cole glad with beau

Girls Aloud star Cheryl Cole is improbably glad with her beau Derek Hough, reveals her "X Factor" colleague Brian Friedman.

Firedman said, "I've been in touch with both Cheryl and Derek since they've been over in Los Angeles. I'm very close with them both. They're amazing people and they make a good couple".

He added, "I thought they would make a nice couple, and I'm so pleased to say they do. They're very, very cute together. Cheryl and Derek both appear improbably glad right now that's all I can say".

Friedman, on Simon Cowell's talent hunt show who is creative director, admitted not having the singer at the boot camp stage of the auditions while she recovered from malaria was "terrible", reports femalefirst.

He said, "It was terrible not having her there for some of the auditions and boot camp. It was strange just having the male judges at boot camp too which we've just finished filming".

Girls Aloud band reunite without Nadine Coyle

Girls Aloud set to reunite without Nadine Coyle.
The other members of the chart topping girl band are Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Cole haven't been in contact with Nadine in months as she works on her debut solo LP and are now prepared to get back together without her following their hiatus.
An insider said: 'It's been a painful decision for Sarah, Nicola, Kimberley and Cheryl but they have decided that the future of Girls Aloud lies without Nadine. They've all been on a rollercoaster ride since 2002 and have just grown apart from Nadine.'
Last month, Nicola admitted none of the girls had spoken to Nadine - who is recently in Los Angeles finishing off her debut solo single - since the band supported Coldplay in London last September, but she denied rumours of a feud.
The group are said to be looking forward to returning and can't wait to get to work on some new music following their self imposed break so each member could pursue their own individual projects.
The source added to Britain's The Sun newspaper: 'The four remaining girls want to return on their own terms and avoiding any squabbles is a high priority. That's why they have decided to go on without Nadine.'
