“I met my friend’s new boyfriend the other day and he’s got this dead Scouse voice, really strong, and we just chatted about Liverpool all night.

“I’ve always been like that. I need that bit of home. It grounds me.”

Now three years Girls Aloud after the release of the last album, Nicola a single record, due out next month is all.

She admits, “I’m so excited. But I’m really nervous too. I’ve written the songs myself. I spent a year locked away in the studio every day. It’s quite autobiographical, very personal, so it’s scary to put it out there.”

Nicola worked with Goldfrapp producer Dimitri Tikovoi and MIA producer Diplo for her first single, Beat Of My Dru.

Nicola says, “It's a fun record. It was important my first single was different to anything else around. I love that it's a song everyone can sing and dance along to.

“I’m proud of the music that I’ve made. I had so much more control than I’ve ever had in the band.”

May I ask if they can promote it yourself about mental support is for the girls without.

She laughs, “I have been doing this 10 years. I know what I’m doing. But, yes, it is strange to not have them.

“I was 16 when I auditioned for the band. Looking back, I was young for my age. I learned a lot very quickly. You have to.”

Sarah Harding: My new brown hair is much harder to manage

Girls Aloud's singer Sarah Harding has claimed that one reason they can spend less time on hair style as fair is more fun.

The Harding recently this blonde locks for a dramatic new look, dyed brown, but told the Daily Star that he was not a problem to find new.

She said: "My new brown hair is much harder to manage. Before, when I was blonde, I used to get away with going out with bed hair most of the time but sadly I can't do that, not any more."

Harding is due this year with DJ friend Tom Crane to tie the knot after getting engaged on New Year's Eve.

Sarah Harding Loves Cooking


It has been revealed by Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding that she will never think of dieting as she not only loves cooking but also like to eat too much as well.

The Girls Aloud star and hubby Tom share a house together, and enjoy spending their time making tasty meals.

"I like my food too much to be that thin. I try to keep in shape but me and Tommy love cooking," Harding told Look magazine.

"Now we’re out of London I do a lot more home cooking. Spaghetti Bolognese is my speciality. I love pasta and bread – all the wrong things unfortunately.

"I try to balance out what I eat but I don’t see Tommy a lot of the time in the evenings because he’s working so I end up cooking enough for two people, then eating it all. I can’t leave it or throw it away."

Earlier this week couple had celebrated their engagement with a star-studded party, and are looking forward to tie the knot with a summer ceremony later this year.

Girls Aloud are planning to tour again next year

Girls Aloud are reuniting in 2011 for a new tour while Kimberley Walsh is a band member says there's no truth to the rumour.

Girls Aloud member all five m embers would get back together again to make their 10 year anniversary but, according to the Sky My Pop presenter says nothing was discussed.

This week she writes in her Ok! colme, "There are lots of reports that Girls Aloud are planning to tour again next year.

I'm sorry to say this isn't true but we'd love to tour again at some point."

Walsh claimed about the band that they wouldn't getting back together but just recently previous month Kimberley assured fans that Girls Aloud definitely will visit again in the future.
