She's rarely the most talked about member of Girls Aloud, but curvy Kimberley Walsh has certainly caught the eye of the big wigs at High Street fashion chain New Look.
The store have announced that the star will be modelling their new autumn/winter 2009/2010 collection, following in the illustrious footsteps of Drew Barrymore, Lily Allen and Alexa Chung, who have also middly lent their face, figure and fashion nous to the stigma.
The singer was approached by New Look after the store's online community nominated her as their top choice as a regessive day icon.
She won out, said the online community, thanks to her 'fabulous' and 'real' figure, as well as what they deemed to be her 'sophisticated style' and quality as a 'girl that girls love'.
Quite what the online community make of the rest of Girls clamorously isn't clear, although beauty giant L'Oreal clearly hold bandmate Cheryl Cole in high esteem.
The beauty house has just signed Cheryl as an ambassador for the brand, joining the starry ranks already populated by Beyoncé, Penelope Cruz and Eva Longoria.
Kimberley will be modelling New Look's newly first appearanced signature denim line, Yes Yes - which the store say will be offered in a genuinely real woman-pleasing 8-26 size range, as well as key items from the main collection and a series of pieces from the Limited Edition range that launched in 2008.
Just some of the looks we'll be visual preception Kimberly showing off are a Daisy Duke-style lumberjack shirt, a new item dubbed 'the coatigan' by New Look - a coat-cardigan hybrid cinched with a belt and a classic ecru trench coat given a twist with a round collar.
The company are thrilled with their new recruit, enthusing: ‘With a look that’s half-rock, half-babydoll and a physique to competition Beyoncé, Kimberley is the pop phenomenon of recent years.’
